“My name is Emma and I work for Liverpool Victoria Financial Services as an Internal Auditor. To help improve my knowledge and skillset in my role, I decided to undertake the IA Practitioner Level 4 qualification with MBKB. This course has given me the technical knowledge and understanding of internal audit, corporate governance and risk management methodologies, and increased my commercial awareness which is vital for my role. This course has also allowed me to develop my soft skills such as effective communication, building relationships and being proactive and adaptable. My main take away from this course is I have gained the confidence I need to contribute and add value in my team and in every audit I undertake, this will help me progress in the next stages of my career path, all the way to becoming a Head of Audit, which is my aspiration.
