“My name is Laura Woodcock and I work within Pay Services for Royal Mail and I have completed my Payroll Level 3 apprenticeship and received a distinction overall mark.
I have worked within pay services for Royal Mail for nearly 4 years and I wanted to expand my skills and knowledge regarding the payroll process beginning to end. Within Royal Mail we have dedicated teams that process different parts of the payroll process due to the scale of the number of employees we pay on a weekly and monthly basis so within my payroll role I do not see the full process so this apprenticeship has widened my knowledge.
I would like to progress my career with Royal Mail within Pay Services and the payroll apprenticeship has given me the knowledge and skills to help me do this, if the opportunity arrives within the business.
